When is the wedding?
The wedding is Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 4:00pm.
Where is the wedding and reception taking place?
The wedding and reception are taking place at the Constellation Home, 1213 S. Virginia Dare Trail, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948.
The wedding will be on the beach directly behind the house, and the reception will be in the backyard of the home.
What time is the wedding?
We are asking guests to arrive at 3:30pm. The ceremony begins at 4pm.
Are kids welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time or leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Are there any childcare options?
There are several options for childcare during your time in Kill Devil Hills, NC! Please check out Endless Summer or At Your Service for your childcare needs!
Will the ceremony/reception be outdoors?
Yes, the ceremony will be on the beach, and the reception will be held in the backyard of The Constellation home.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. No jeans.
Can I bring a date?
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Will food and drink be provided at the reception?
Yes, a wide variety of food options (including vegetarian meals) will be provided at the reception. There will also be an open bar because we are not psychopaths.
Do you have a wedding hashtag?
We do! Our wedding hashtag is #LucysMarkedForLife, please add our tag to each photo you put on social media so that we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?
We have blocked off rooms for guests at the Sea Ranch Resort. Group rates are available, just mention our names! Blocked rooms are limited, so book early

Yes, there are quite a few hotels in the area! Here are a few options:

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking too many photos during the ceremony. We’ve asked a professional photographer to capture this special moment so that you can sit back, relax and enjoy it with us! Our beautiful images will be available after the wedding.
What will the weather be like this time of year?
The weather is typically high 70s to low 80s. (Approximately 23C - 28C)
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception yard where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.
Do you have a gift registry?
We are registered at Amazon and Bed Bath & Beyond. Please visit our Registry page for more information.
Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?
There will be no transportation to and from the hotel. However, the hotel is a short drive, perfect for hitching a rideshare such as Uber or Lyft.
